 Castleridge Housing Market

The most common type of Castleridge real estate are single family homes. There are also a variety of townhouses and apartment condos available.  According to the most recent statistics, there are 1920 dwellings that are privately occupied.

The largest percentage (65%) of homes in the area were built between 1981 to 1990. Statistics available for 2006 put the number of rowhouses and semi-attached homes in Castleridge at 27%.

The most recent statistics from the city of Calgary put the population of Castleridge at 6465. Most of the population (70%) is between 14 and 64 years. In fact, 22% fall in the 0 to 14-year range and 8% are 65 years or older.

The median household income for Castleridge is $79,800 CDN and 49% of the residents speak English. On average, there are three people in each home and 1920 houses in the area are privately owned.
