Marlborough Amenities

Marlborough Mall is a shopping mall located in the community of Marlborough featuring over 100 stores and encompasses over 580,000 sq ft.  The biggest anchor tenant currently is WalMart Supercentre and they are expecting MaKami College to become the second.  Nearby you will find Pacific Place Mall which is anchored by T&T Supermarket and is adjacent to Canadian Tire. 

Marlborough Professional Centre is a 5-storey office tower hosting a diverse mix of medical and professional tenants.  This building can be accessed from Marlborough Mall and provides all different types of medical facilities.

Marlborough is a large public transportation hub with access to seven Calgary Transit bus routes and is home to the Marlborough LRT Station.  You will also find the Sunridge LRT station and Franklin LRT station within a few kms of each other.  With such a vast amount of public transportation moving around Marlborough is breeze.

The most recent statistics from the City of Calgary put the population of Marlborough at 9240.  Most of the population (78%) is between 15 and 64 years. In fact, 17% fall in the 0 to 14-year range and 5% are 65 years or older. 

The median household income for Marlborough is $74,471 CDN and 56% of the residents speak English at home. On average, there are three people in each home and 3155 houses in the area are privately owned. 

The population of Marlborough has continued to expand for the last 10 years. Gradually, this affects the number of Marlborough homes for sale in the area.  Families make up almost 77% of the population, while 18% are single parents and 82% are couples.

Almost 41% of the residents are college or university educated. Marlborough real estate is also attractive because this community boasts ease of access to public transit and provides lots of schools and amenities.
