Whitehorn is a very large public transportation hub with access to over five Calgary Transit bus routes and is home to the Whitehorn LRT Station.  You will also find the McKnight-Westwinds LRT and Rundle LRT stations within a few kms of each other.  With such a vast amount of public transportation moving around Whitehorn is a breeze.

The most recent statistics from the City of Calgary put the population of Whitehorn at 12,125.  Most of the population (70%) is between 15 and 64 years. In fact, 19% fall in the 0 to 14-year range and 11% are 65 years or older. 

The median household income for Whitehorn is $79,447 CDN and 54% of the residents speak English at home. On average, there are three people in each home and 3660 houses in the area are privately owned. 

The population of Whitehorn has seen a steady rise for the last 10 years. Gradually, this affects the number of Whitehorn homes for sale in the area.  Families make up almost 87% of the population, while 17% are single parents and 83% are couples.
